Eleksyon na naman, ano bang paki ko eh wala naman ako sa Pinas. Pero mahal ko pa din ang Pinas and I'm still concerned kung anong nangyayari dito. I won't consider my self as pro-admin pero mas lalong hindi ako pro-opposition. Gusto ko lang eh yun honest and competent leaders. I hate "TRAPO", all they are concerned about is for the "kurakot" and influence. They are surfacing again, as if they are the cleanest politician in the country. Did the country already forget what they did few years ago? When he collected Payola's and kick-backs from the government. He amassed millions of Pesos from Jueteng. Nagnakaw na sya sa kaban ng Bayan, ngayon gusto pa niya na makialam sa eleksyon? Sana magising ang bayan at huwag supportahan ang mga magnanakaw na mga ito. Elect responsible and honest leaders. Sayang nga lang at hindi ako makakaboto, pero sana, SANA lang mabago na ang politika sa Pilipinas.

Apocalypse or Global Warming...

The past few years The World have experienced the worst earthquake, tsunami, flooding and hurricanes. Is this a sign that the world is coming into an end or this is a sign that humans have destroyed the balance of nature and now we are experiencing the results of it. Thousands of people have died and thousands more are still dying due to this natural disasters. There's a group of people who's saying that these are signs from heaven. The World is coming to an end because we have become sinners again. Some people are saying that all of Nostradamus Prophecy's are happening. Scientist are saying this is caused by Global Warming, El Niņo and/or La Niņa. Pollution is the number one reason why we are now suffering. We were victimized by Industrialization and commercialization that we have overlooked the law of nature. One example of this is the Boracay Island, it used to be a sanctuary and a hidden paradise. Now its too crowded and full of hotels. The Island became too commercialized. We have nobody to blame but us the people and the greedy Hotel owners. If we continue to massacre our nature, our kids and the next generation will not be able to enjoy the beauty of world that we once enjoyed. Everybody are just visitors and we should make this place a better place for us and for the next generation. I would like to share a few pictures of this beautiful place. Please enjoy this photos for you might not be able to see it again in real life.

Sleepy Head...Bobble Head...
Yesterday was a very long day for me. I started working at 0330c to cover half of Midnight shift. I woke up around 0230c to get ready. I took a shower and then prepared my lunch. Left the house few minutes before 0300c. I arrived at work at exactly 0330c. My daily routine started by signing in to the system and started taking phone calls and monitoring system. 12 hours later I am heading out the door to tackle another challenge, GETTING HOME (SAFE!).
At 1545c I was on the road going West on I-90. Traffic at this time of day is heavy. I had to weave out of traffic just to get out of the congested area. Facing the sun and temperature around 85 F will make you drowsy anyday. How much more me, being up since the Wee hours of the morning. I had to travel 26 miles just to get home. I was so sleepy that I had to yell at my self "WAKE UP!!!" a couple of times, slap my self numerous times and increasing the volume of my radio. I drifted to the side a couple of times hitting the shoulder rumble strip. Travelling at 70mph and drifting from side to side is totally insane and dangerous. I guess my angel was watching over me yesterday that I got home safe and in one-piece at 1620c. No bumps and scratches on the car, Whew I got lucky again. I just went straight to the couch and took a nap for a couple of hours. Today I was reading an article/study conducted by University of Michigan about Sleepy drivers and here are some facts that I want to share to all the Bobble heads of the road:

Here are some signs that should tell a driver to stop and rest.
- Difficulty focusing, frequent blinking, or heavy eyelids
- Trouble keeping your head up
- Yawning repeatedly
- Trouble remembering the last few miles driven; missing exits or traffic signs
- Drifting from your lane, tailgating, or hitting a shoulder rumble strip
HIGHLIGHTS ON DROWSY DRIVING FROM NSF 2002 SLEEP IN AMERICA POLL

51 percent of adults who drive say they have driven a vehicle while feeling drowsy in the past year.
Gender: males (56%) vs. females (45%)
Age: 18-29 (71%), 30-64 (52%), 65+ (19%)
Adults w/children in household (59%) vs. those without children (45%)

Gender: males (22%) vs. females (12%)

ADDENDUM
The first federal bill (H.R. 5543) addressing the issue of drowsy driving was introduced in the House of Representatives by Rep. Robert Andrews (D-NJ) last month. It is known as "Maggie's Law: National Drowsy Driving Act of 2002."
A bill before the New Jersey state legislature declares driving while knowingly fatigued constitutes a charge of reckless driving with all associated penalties.
Drowsy driving crashes can result in high personal and economic costs:
- A national trucking company settled a lawsuit for $7.25 million after one of its drivers fell asleep and killed his passenger, who was asleep in the truck.
- A St. Louis man was charged with involuntary manslaughter after falling asleep at the wheel and killing a woman changing a tire on the side of a road.
- Victims of drowsy driving-related accidents and their families have been awarded judgments ranging from $100,000 to $20 million.

A Rainy Monday morning in Chicago. You can hear the raindrops falling from the dark sky hitting the pavement million times. Its awesome how nature works, different weather, different colors of the sky,
rain, sun, snow and wind. Name it and we have that kind of weather in Chicago. Its getting late in

September and you can feel it that its getting colder and winter is around the corner. So right now, I have to enjoy autumn because in a couple of months, snow will fall. I love the temperature when its fall, not too hot not too cold. The only drawback on fall is you have to keep your yard clean from this falling leaves. Well I would rather clean up the leaves rather than plowing the snow when its -5 F outside. Well thats if for now, hopefully I got more stuff to put on my next blog.

Being away from your homeland sometimes it makes you think, what if I'm leaving in Phils? What kind of work will I do? What kind of car will I be driving? What kind of food will I be enjoying? What kind of house will I be staying? What kind of life will I be enduring? Is this what you call homesick?
Homesick? Maybe, but not really. I have been back home at least 4 times and everytime you go, you feel a different kind of excitement. Few weeks before you go and you are already thinking of all the places you want to visit, all the foods you wanna eat and all the relatives and friends you want to see. Once you get there, you go to Jollibee (my favorite), Chowking and the local restaurants. You try to enjoy the food, fresh fruits and of course a different sorroudings. Then you visit all the nice places like Boracay (although I've never been there), Hidden Valley, Rizal Park etc. Then you will come to a point were you're tired and you will say, "I wanna go back to US".
It's nice seeing your relatives and friends once in a while. Its nice to be able to enjoy the homecook meals fresh from the market. Its always a joy to visit Jollibee or Chowking once in a while. Nice to enjoy the local scenery. But for some strange reason, I don't want to live there and be able to enjoy it forever. Maybe I am not use to the way of life now. It seems like the pace is so slow for me. I love Philippines, don't get me wrong. It seems that I am more accustomed to be living here than to my homeland. Maybe I should consider US as my Home...
